Service runs and Service Mode

Every zone has Service Run 1 / 5 / 10 min buttons and a Service Mode switch. Use them to check drippers, flush lines or find leaks.

What they do

• Service Run buttons: run the valve for 1, 5 or 10 minutes.
• Service Mode switch: keeps the valve on until you switch it off. It switches off automatically after 30 minutes by default, and sends a phone alert.

Safety and the schedule

Service runs go through the same safety path as a real cycle, including the lock, the shared pump and the watchdogs. They never count as watering, so the schedule does not move. Their minutes do count toward the daily safety cap.

Measuring your emitter flow rate

The flow-rate helper works this out either way: calculated from your emitters' rated output, or measured — run a Service Run 5 min, tell it how much water came out, and it does the maths. Either way, the emitter flow rate is the one number that must be right.
